  • Mood: Depressed
I tend to wax philosophic or poetic when I'm depressed late at night.

[04:21] <Garr|Zzzz> Sometimes you just look back on things and wonder what you're supposed to do.
[04:21] <Garr|Zzzz> And it feels like you're just flailing pointlessly, trying to keep yourself from facing reality.
[04:22] <Garr|Zzzz> You feel like you're all alone, and only the thought that you'll have some kind of friendship wherever you go is keeping you going.
[04:25] <Garr|Zzzz> And it feels like friends and acquaintances really can't replace a family lost.
[04:25] <Garr|Zzzz> So you just resign yourself to it, and quietly ask "Why me?".
[04:26] <Garr|Zzzz> And then the answer comes. It's a little twisted but..it makes you feel good.
[04:27] <Garr|Zzzz> "Every misfortune that befalls me. That's one less misfortune for the people I care about."
